Try scuba diving on Koh Tao! A RAID Try Dive is a 1-day experience taking you beneath the surface to witness the beauty that lives below. Try dives are perfect for those short on time or not quite ready to commit to becoming a certified diver in the Open Water 20 course.
Koh Tao’s warm, tropical waters make it the premier location to try scuba diving. You will spend a few hours with an experienced instructor in our purpose-built training pool before heading out to sea. The experience can be either 1 or 2 dives, the choice is yours and can be made from the boat after your first dive.
At the end of the day, you will come back to the beachfront diving resort to debrief what you learned. Now it’s time to enjoy a beverage at the beach bar and watch the sunset.
No experience is required for a try dive experience.

Requirements
Must be a minimum 12 years of age to try diving.
Must be medically fit to scuba dive.
Step 1

Forms & Theory
You will meet your instructor and complete the necessary paperwork before moving into academic theory and learning about how to set up the scuba equipment.
Step 2 - Pool Training
You and your instructor will spend some time in the training pool. During this part of the experience, you will learn basic breathing and equalization methods, and how to clear your regulator and mask. They will also assist you in controlling your body position and buoyancy in the water.
Step 3 - Open Water Dives
After a lunch break, you will head out on our dive boat for an afternoon trip with your choice to do one or two dives.
Your instructor will help you to equalize your ears, control your buoyancy, and guide you through the dive site as you learn to defy gravity.
EXTRA INFORMATION
You must wait 18 hours after your last dive before flying in an aircraft.
